About Me

Hello, my name is Katelyn Wischmeier, and I am a junior at Mediapolis Community High School. I am actively involved in volleyball, golf, the dance team, the National Honor Society, Des Moines County CEO, and M Power U. Outside of school, I work at Starbucks, where I have developed valuable skills, including multitasking in a fast-paced environment and time management. Working in a fast-paced environment has also taught me to collaborate with others and adhere to strict health and safety standards.

My involvement in sports and extracurricular activities has also helped shape me into a responsible and disciplined person. Volleyball, golf, and dance team have taught me the importance of commitment, teamwork, and exercise. Through my academic and extracurricular experiences, I have learned how to balance multiple responsibilities while working toward my goals.

After graduating from Mediapolis Community High School and Southeastern Community College, I plan to attend a four-year university to pursue my bachelor's degree. I am excited to continue challenging myself academically, professionally, and personally as I prepare for my future. I will use the skills I have developed through work, sports, and leadership opportunities to make a positive impact wherever my future takes me.
