About Me

Hello, my name is James LaVelle. I am a Junior at West Burlington High School. I am very thankful for this opportunity to be with the Des Moines County CEO program. This will help me improve my communication skills and meet with people who have the same type of interests as I do. I have always wanted to run my own business and I have taken many classes that would help me know what I need to know and to be able to run one, such as, business classes, talk to some people I know that have done what I wanted to do or work with people who do, and some classes to learn about marketing. After high school/during high school I plan on starting my own business with what I learn with CEO and from the people I met through CEO. Overall, I’m very thankful for this opportunity to work with CEO and be able to work with these different types of people.
