Today, the Des Moines County CEO students visited Barn on the Ridge and heard from owner Jennifer Glendening about how the business came to be.
Jennifer shared her path from working as a dental hygienist to taking a chance on an idea and building her dream business from the ground up—literally. Her story gave students a real look at what it takes to start something of your own: having a vision, taking risks, working through the hard parts, and sticking with it.
